摘要: Abstract Organoclay-modified high performance epoxy nanocomposites were synthesized with a direct-mixing method (DMM) or high-pressure mixing (HPMM). X-ray diffraction (XRD) results showed that the basal spacing of organoclay particles in fabricated DMM is increased, but aggregated on micro-scale resin. These agglomerates mainly came from poor dispersion and could be broken down by HPMM. The mechanical behavior materials formed these methods was investigated. found to simultaneously improve both fracture toughness elastic modulus TGDDM-DDS system without decreasing strength. HPMM dramatic improvement at very low clay loading; is, K1C G1C increased 1.7 3.2 times respectively, 1.5 phr (about 1 wt%) loading. Dynamic analysis glass transition temperature (Tg) all decreases slightly as content increases.
