摘要: In the present report, three different shapes of chitosan-capped gold nanoparticles (nanospheres, nanostars, and nanorods) were synthesized to investigate effects shape on cytotoxicity cellular uptake in cancer cells. Green tea extract was utilized as a reducing agent reduce salts nanospheres. Gold nanostars prepared using an as-prepared nanosphere solution seed solution. nanorods conventional method. All types showed their characteristic surface plasmon resonance bands upon UV-visible spectrophotometry. high-resolution transmission electron microscopy images, lattice structures clearly observed all shapes, confirming crystalline nature nanoparticles. colloidal solutions retained stability various solutions. To assess cytotoxicity, 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay performed four cell lines. The highest nanorods, followed by finally human hepatocyte carcinoma cells (HepG2) measured, results order nanospheres > nanostars. outcomes current study may assist design for therapeutic applications drug delivery vehicles field nanomedicine.
