摘要: This paper aims to quantify the main environmental impact potentials of sugar cane bagasse energy generation in Brazil. To do so, it was employed Life Cycle Assessment technique based on primary and secondary data from three previous studies that encompass electricity generation, transmission distribution. The major identified should be decision makers’ focus are photochemical ozone, human toxicity via soil nutrient enrichment ones. These caused mainly by current harvesting techniques, namely straw burning chemicals application prior harvesting.
