摘要: The photolysis of SO2 at 3130 A, FWHM = 165 and 22°C has been investigated in the presence cis- trans-2-pentene. Quantum yields for photosensitized isomerization one isomer to other have made a variation [SO2]/[C5H10] ratio 3.41–366 cis-2-C5H10 1.28–367 trans-2-C5H10. A kinetic analysis each these systems permitted new estimates be collisionally induced intersystem crossing from SO2(1B1) SO2(3B1). k1a/(k1a + k1b) obtained are 0.12 ± 0.01 0.02 (two different analyses study) 0.20 0.05 0.04 trans-2-C5H10 study). Collisionally ratios k2a/(k2a k2b) 0.51 0.10 k3a/(k3a k3b) 0.62 were trans-2-pentene, respectively. Quenching rate constants removal SO2(3B1) molecules by estimated as (1.00 0.29) × 1011 l./mole·sec (0.857 0.160) l./mole/sec, Prolonged irradiations, extrapolated infinite irradiation times, mixtures initially containing pure isomer, either cis or trans, yielded photostationary composition [trans-2-pentene]/[cis-2-pentene] 2.1 0.1.
