摘要: Abstract The adsorption of Direct Red 80 (DR 80) dye from aqueous solution on almond shells as an eco-friendly and low-cost adsorbent was studied. effect shell type (internal, external mixture shells), pH initial concentration were considered to evaluate the sorption capacity adsorbent. showed be more effective. studies revealed that remove about 97% DR phase after 1 h process in a batch system. Although, changes did not appreciably affect but maximum different types (20.5, 16.96 16.4 mg/g for mixture, internal shells) obtained at 2. However, order have better control experimental conditions, 6 selected conducting all experiments. Initial varied 50 150 mg/L. Higher concentrations reduced efficiency shells. Equilibrium data attempted by various isotherms including Langmuir, Freundlich Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) models. It found follows Langmuir non-linear isotherm. Furthermore, could well described BET isotherm models, respectively. pseudo-second-order kinetics provides best correlation data.
