摘要: We have synthesised two novel series of octaphenoxyphthalocyaninato copper(II) complexes, (m-C n O)PcCu (n = 2–10: 2b–f), and bis(octaphenoxyphthalocyaninato)terbium(III) [(m-C O)Pc]2Tb 3b–f), which were substituted by dodecyloxy chains at the p-positions in phenoxy groups various length alkoxy m-positions groups. Their mesomorphic properties investigated polarising microscopy, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) temperature-dependent X-ray diffraction techniques. The Cu complex (2b) Tb complexes (3b–d), having shorter groups, exhibited a lamellocolumnar (ColL) mesophase. Moreover, it was revealed that (2 3) tend to change their mesophases order Colh → ColL Colr Cub Coltet with elongating m-positions. †Reference [1].
