摘要: The use of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) as medicine or in functional diets requires high purity. An industrial purification method for PUFA from Schizochytrium sp. SR21 oil was investigated. This contains fewer unwanted components than fish oils. Docosahexaenoic acid and docosapentaenoic ethyl esters (DHA-E DPA-E) were prepared by treatment this with ethanol 1 N potassium hydroxide hexane. DHA-E DPA-E purified an high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) plant. separation plant consists two columns (400 mm i.d., 1,000 mml) temperature-controlled water jackets double-plunger (four heads) injection eluent pumps. computer-controlled equipped explosion-prevention system. packed material octadecylsilica (reverse-phase ODS), the methyl alcohol/water (98:2). single-cell highly HPLC a one-step process. obtained better 99%
