摘要: Warfarin is the world's most widely used anticoagulant drug. Its activity based on inhibition of vitamin K-dependent (VKD) step in complete synthesis a number blood coagulation factors that are required for normal coagulation. also affects VKD proteins not related to haemostasis including those involved bone growth and vascular calcification. Antithrombotic warfarin considered responsible some aspects its anti-tumour warfarin. Some activities against tumours seem be included effects non-haemostatic as well proteins. Inflammatory/immunomodulatory indicate much broader potential action this drug both physiological pathological processes. This review provides an overview published data dealing with biological processes other than haemostasis.
