摘要: Menstruation is a delicate physiological process through which shedding of uterine lining occurs each month in females reproductive age. Often considered taboo subject, menstruation seldom openly discussed developing parts the world. This article explores menstrual hygiene management (MHM) sub-Saharan Africa and emphasizes urgent neglected need for feasible solutions, especially among adolescent girls. Optimizing interventions will require an integration both knowledge skill training gained education on MHM alongside improvement access to girl-friendly water, sanitation facilities addition low-cost hygienic sanitary products. To facilitate identification implementation cultural relevant programs we recommend utilization public health intervention research.
