摘要: We extended the use of microswitch-cluster technology to six children with severe profound developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders. The primary aim intervention was improve adaptive behavior (ie, insert three objects in different containers within 3 s) simultaneously decrease challenging hand/objects mouthing. second assess effects on indices happiness. An ABCAC experimental sequence adopted for each participant. Thus, subsequent a baseline condition, first phase implemented increasing responding irrespective behavior, followed by cluster which positive stimulation provided contingent an response, only if absent. A 3 month follow-up occurred. Results showed performance improvement all participants involved. Additionally, they consolidated during follow-up. Sixty external raters favorably endorsed such technology. Implications findings were discussed.
