摘要: Fiber reinforced polypropylene (FRPP) is used as a structural material because of its high strength and stiffness to weight cost performance. FRPP parts are usually manufactured by conventional polymer processing method, such injection molding. In molding, melt injected into mold cavities applying pressure. orientation induced flow during filling. causes the anisotropy mechanical properties in molded parts. For example, when all fibers align given direction, elastic modulus fiber direction will be much larger than that perpendicular direction. Also, main reason warpage Therefore, prediction very important control prevent design stage. Computer simulation can predict with three-dimensional complex geometry qualitatively molding CAE(Computer Aided Engineering).
