摘要: OBJECTIVE: Interpersonal psychotherapy is a time-limited treatment initially developed to treat depression. It has not been studied for the of anxiety disorders. METHOD: was modified and tested in 14-week, open trial nine patients with DSM-IV social phobia. RESULTS: At termination, seven (78%) were independently rated as much or very improved on overall phobia symptoms. Nearly all clinician ratings self-ratings symptoms significantly improved. Changes approximated those established treatments CONCLUSIONS: may have efficacy Further study comparison warranted.
