In-Flight Calibration Approach Based on Quaternion Optimization for POS Used in Airborne Remote Sensing

摘要: The position and orientation system (POS) is a key technology which provides motion compensation information for an imaging sensor in airborne remote sensing. But the POS accuracy decreases with time as gyroscope bias excursion flows, in-flight calibration most convenient way to solve this problem users, but existing methods are mostly based on Kalman filter, effect of them estimate error isn' t reliable enough affected severely by global measurement model error. A novel approach quaternion optimization devised paper, adds factor attitude promulgation into algorithm, recognized parse analysis. Simulations flight experiments demonstrated that, proposed can be acceptable precision.
