摘要: Despite concerted efforts to control sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) worldwide, they still remain a major public health problem. Out of the 25 organisms known be sexually, travelers are at greater risk acquiring HIV and other STDs in developing countries view high prevalence rates these countries, particularly after sexual exposure local commercial sex workers (CSWs). Some acquired during international travel more likely resistant standard antimicrobial regimens for STDs. HIV, gonorrhoea, syphilis, non-specific urethritis, hepatitis B, C, significant who engage unprotected sex, especially with overseas CSWs. It is recognized that barrier contraceptives provide considerable protection against STDs, but not regarded as 100% protective. Sexual abstinence monogamy 'known' partner carry much lower than safest 'safer sex' practices. However, event new country being visited, prior B immunization consistent proper use latex condom strongly advised, followed by medical investigations physical examination on returning home, before activity resumed.
