摘要: Teaching practicals for receptor physiology/pharmacology in medical and veterinary schools have involved the use of vitro experiments using tissues from laboratory animals, which been killed isolated vascular strip or ring preparations. However, scavenged has advocated to reduce animal use. Utilising discarded routine surgical procedures, such as canine neutering, not previously investigated. Canine testicular uterine (discarded tissues) were obtained neutering procedures performed by team at a local clinic stray dogs. Rings artery dissected mounted on Mulvany-Halpern wire myograph order characterize adrenergic serotonergic receptors mediating vasoconstriction.
