Hydrothermal synthesis and luminescence properties of monodisperse BaWO4:Eu3+ submicrospheres

摘要: Uniform BaWO4:Eu3+ hierarchical submicrospheres have been prepared via a simple hydrothermal route. The as-synthesized particles are well-dispersed with narrow size distribution and assembled by many tiny nanoparticles. During the synthesis process, trisodium citrate additive plays crucial role for formation of submicrospheres. Under ultraviolet light excitation, spherical phosphor exhibits much stronger luminescence than that shuttle-like sample without adding as additive. luminescent material may find potential applications in fields lighting, displays, nanodevices. This route be extended to prepare other tungstate functional materials well-defined morphologies.
