摘要: It is here described the comparison of extraction efficiency some solutions (acetate buffer, deionized water, diluted HNO3 and EDTA) frequently adopted in literature for evaluating elemental solubility airborne particulate matter. This was performed considering distribution As, Ba, Ca, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mg, Mn, Na, Ni, Pb, S, Si, Sb, Sn, Sr, Ti, V, Zn between extractable mineralized residual fractions on NIST 1648 certified material, PM10 real samples size-segregated samples, collected by a 13-stage impactor. The extracting were evaluated comparing extractive efficiencies robustness towards factors, such as acidity concentration complexing species, that have great environmental variability could be able to modify efficiency. Furthermore, methods application allowed estimating selectivity dimensionally characterized emission sources, dusts originated from abrasion road dust re-suspension. On basis obtained results, it possible define main advantages disadvantages resulting use different solutions, necessary make studies carried out conditions start up proper study harmonizing procedures.
