摘要: Die sulfhydrylgruppenhaltige Substanz Uromitexan (Natrium-2-mercaptoethansulfonat, Mesna) verhindert die dosislimitierende Urotoxizitat bei Gabe der Oxazaphosphorine Ifosfamid sowie Cyclophosphamid. Diese klinisch bewahrte Mercaptoverbindung wird vor allem im Intravasalraum verteilt, vorwiegend renal ausgeschieden und ist gut vertraglich. Auch konnte in bisherigen Untersuchungen keine signifikante Reduktion zytostatischen Wirkung festgestellt werden.
