摘要: Presented in this paper are pin-bearing strengths for pultruded fibre-reinforced polymer materials that required order to check the bearing resistance when designing bolted connections. For steel pin diameters up 16 mm, equivalent test results, at room temperature, using European standard method BS EN 13706-2 and another (such as ASTM D 5764) shown not be significantly different. As latter uses much smaller specimen blanks, new can determined web material a 203 x 9.5 mm wide flange shape, with connection force 0 degrees, 45 degrees or 90 direction of pultrusion. An evaluation is made results recommendations given on how so they will match geometries connections forces found practice.
