摘要: The ontogeny and morphology of infection structures associated with the early stages Hymenoscyphus pseudoalbidus on common ash (Fraxinus excelsior) leaves leaf petioles were investigated using light scanning electron microscopy. Ascospores produced in mature ascocarps infections first observed 2 weeks later. developed germ tubes, followed by appressorium formation penetration epidermal cells petioles. Chalara fraxinea spores, anamorph H. pseudoalbidus, appeared arranged chains, surrounded a membranous sheath, varied considerably size shape. Host invasion colonization all cell types role as sites life cycle H. pseudoalbidus disease dieback is discussed.
