摘要: This study evaluated the efficacy of prehospital external cardiac pacing in arrest patients. From October 1984 to June 1985, 91 patients were paced. Mean time from advanced life support (ALS) intervention this metropolitan-rural ALS system was 14.5 minutes. Electrical capture occurred 85 (93%), mechanical (pulses) ten (11%), and a measurable blood pressure three (3%) Despite high rate electrical capture, palpable pulses produced only 11%, no survived be discharged hospital. There difference frequency pulses, or outcome for receiving pharmacologic before after pacing. Likewise there therapy within minutes their arrest. Although we found that easily used setting, did not result any increase survival
