摘要: OAK-B135 A stochastic magnetic boundary, produced by an externally applied edge resonant perturbation, is used to suppress large localized modes (ELMs) in high confinement (H-mode) plasmas. The resulting H-mode displays rapid, small oscillations with a bursty character modulated coherent 130 Hz envelope. transport barrier unaffected the boundary. core of these discharges unaffected, despite three-fold drop toroidal rotation plasma core. These results demonstrate that boundaries are compatible H-modes and may be attractive for ELM control next-step burning fusion tokamaks.
