摘要: Several reports indicate that suicide follows a seasonal pattern with dominant peak during the month of maximum daylight. The purpose this study was to evaluate hypothesis sunshine exposure may trigger suicidal behavior. We found remarkably consistent seasonality incidence around June in northern hemisphere and December southern hemisphere. Moreover, there positive association between amplitude (measured by relative risk) total corresponding country. These findings have triggering effect on suicide, suggests further research field sunshine-regulated hormones, particularly melatonin.
