摘要: Fluid mixing in a Hele–Shaw cell can be accomplished by periodically pulsing pairs of sources and sinks. The efficiency this system depends largely on the volume fluid that is injected (and extracted) during each pulse. In paper, authors use two-dimensional potential flow model to find pulse volumes optimize rectangular domain containing two source–sink pairs, current interest DNA microarray analysis. Optimal protocols are identified determining maximum entropy using an analysis chaotic advection.
