摘要: Terahertz radiation is a powerful probe of materials' properties, because many materials have characteristic energies corresponding to the terahertz photons. Take particular example semiconductor materials: phonon energies, cyclotron and energy levels bound states in quantum wells, all typically lie region. Contrariwise, properties are crucial development technology. This applies every part system-from emitter, through elements for transferring manipulating radiation, finally detector.
