摘要: Abstract Seismic attributes for the interpreting explorationist are numerous. Some useful, some duplicative, and less useful. However, with respect to optimizing a systematic basin analysis approach which relies upon heavily integrating seismic facies, there eight particularly useful have clear geophysical meaning, strong underlying geological rock-fluid implications, clastic depositional environments greatly assist in determining associated paleoenvironments, lessening number of interpretive possibilities. They are: Amplitude Envelope, Chaos, Cosine Phase, Dip Deviation, Instantaneous Frequency, Q, Relative Acoustic Impedance, Variance. A application these first order East China Sea particular, other general, allows pass assessment basin’s exploration potential through reconnaissance, an reconnaissance whose accuracy is limited only by fidelity lines logic assumed geology employed.
