摘要: Technological development and innovation have improved productivity in mining; consequently, mining employment has decreased. In the light of a growing demand for raw materials, activities increased many regions. Sweden, this had modest effects on levels, although is not sole explanation. The aim paper to examine extent which reorganization occurred; industrial sectors might be affected by such restructuring; whether restructuring any implications gender equality. Previous studies Eriksson (2004) Knobblock & Pettersson (2010), demonstrated that new strategies, addition mergers acquisitions, been implemented they affect employment. However, remains unknown. current study was carried out Vasterbotten, region northern Sweden.
