摘要: The magnetic field generated by a ground-based horizontal frame antenna operating in the Pc 1 frequency range is calculated for different ionospheric conditions. signal can propagate laterally waveguide and, as result of mode conversion lower ionosphere, upward into magnetosphere along lines above source. For (nighttime) propagation, generation fields order 10 mγ at distances thousands kilometers requires moment an 100 km radius carrying current ka. A same will produce upward-going tens milligammas top either daytime or nighttime Generation micropulsations rotating superconducting magnet briefly considered and found to be well outside feasibility.
