Quality of health care surveillance systems: review and implementation in the Swiss setting.

摘要: Quality of health care has been a subject attention for many years in the USA and Europe. Since introduction new federal law on insurance 1996 it evolved to progressively more important issue within Swiss system. In this review, some theoretical concepts quality care, variations, surveillance systems are explored. Examples that have developed successfully USA, Canada, Australia, Europe discussed. They all demonstrate interest creating large range indicators system evaluating hospital performance using benchmark approach. Currently, measurement with appropriate is intense debate between Hospitals Association (H+) Health Insurance Consortium (Santesuisse). existing Switzerland Outcome Verein Zurich program Canton Valais. The FoQual association also contributed by reviewing six indicators, which could be used nationally healthcare stress ideal intended use as measures hospitals need both valid. Only fulfil these conditions should integrated Priority needs given methods highest level evidence solid scientific basis.
