摘要: The problems associated with synthetic chemical pesticides include resistance, residues, pest resurgence and the adverse effects on non-target organisms. Hence, many ecofriendly newer alternatives are being evaluated among which one of most important is use herbal agents. Many plant extracts or its fractions dissolved in polar non solvents detergents before tested for acaricidal activity. solvent detergent used dissolving extract should have little no effects. In present study, laboratory tests were carried out engorged female Rhipicephalus (Boophilus) annulatus ticks to detect toxicity common diluents such as dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), Tween 20 Triton X 100 at 1% concentration. result study revealed that least activity was while other two inhibited hatching eggs laid by treated ticks.
