摘要: Abstract Studies on the use of rainwater and greywater to promote potable water savings have been performed in different countries. The main objective this article is evaluate potential for by using a multi-storey residential building composed three blocks, located Florianopolis, southern Brazil. Water end-uses were estimated applying questionnaires measuring flow rates. An economic analysis was cost effectiveness either separately or together. Results show that average range from 39.2% 42.7% amongst considering toilet flushing, clothes washing cleaning does not need be potable. By rainwater, would actually 14.7% 17.7%. When considered alone, are higher, i.e., ranging 28.7% 34.8%. As combined, 36.7% 42.0%. conclusion can made research systems investigated effective as payback periods lower than 8 years, but system most one, followed closely one.
