摘要: Sleep disturbances are common in critically ill patients and have been characterised by numerous studies using polysomnography. Issues regarding patient populations, monitoring duration timing (nocturnal versus continuous), as well practical problems encountered critical care polysomnography considered with regard to future interventional on sleep. Polysomnography is the gold standard objectively measuring quality quantity of However, it difficult undertake, particularly recovering from illness an acute-care area. Therefore, other objective (actigraphy bispectral index) subjective (nurse or assessment) methods used studies. Each these techniques has its own particular advantages disadvantages. We use data study compare agreement between four alternative measurement nocturnal sleep quantity. Recommendations for further developments research clinical application made.
