摘要: This descriptive study describes the frequency and severity of sleep-related breathing disorders in men who are hemodynamically stable have an acute cardiovascular illness hospitalized a critical care unit. Sixty-four males, aged 55-79 years, with illness, hemodynamics, no ongoing chest pain or history sleep apnea were studied for 1 night unit using polysomnography. Forty-seven percent sample had apnea-hypopnea index > = 5, events both obstructive central etiologies, including Cheyne-Stokes respiration. Oxygen desaturation to < 90% occurred 61% sample. There episodes pain, ventricular tachycardia, heart block associated apneic hypopneic events; however, dysrhythmias, sinus bradycardia, supraventricular premature beats, events.
