摘要: Abstract Curcumin-loaded nanocarriers clustered into hollow porous microspheres composed of arabic gum (AG) and xanthan (XG) form a solid dispersion, so-called nanoencapsulated curcumin (NEC), were investigated. In vitro study shows little or no release from NEC buffer at pH 1.2, whereas rate 1.4 %/h was obtained that 6.8 after 6 h, indicating intestinal absorption. vivo evaluation in hamsters presented peak plasma level 400 ng/mL 24 h oral administration indicated an extended curcumin. Mucoadhesive rarely observed stomach tissues but mostly intestine 72 h consumption, resulting detectable up to 3 days. not cytotoxic normal fibroblasts cholangiocarcinoma cell line, suggesting anti-cholangiocarcinoma potentials. Under storage conditions for years, 97 % could be found NEC, long-term stability. Therefore, dispersion curcumin-loaded AG/XG gums, prolonged with mucoadhesion providing enhanced absorption
