摘要: Precision electronics that provide multi-electrode stimulation and recording capabilities are an important tool for the experimental study of neuronal development plasticity. Towards this end, we present a custom analog integrated circuit (IC), fabricated in 0.35-mum process, incorporating buffers preamplifiers multiple electrodes onto single die. The architecture IC allows arbitrary, independent configuration or recording, includes artifact-elimination circuitry returns electrode to its previous voltage following stimulation, minimizing interference with recording. We analyze thermal noise levels experimentally measure input-referred as low 4.77 muVrms frequency range 30 Hz-3 kHz at power consumption 100 muW from total supply 3.8 V. also consider temporal response stability artifact elimination circuitry. demonstrate use 30-mum diameter permits return mode les 2 ms after facilitating near-simultaneous signals.
