摘要: TADB2.0 (http://bioinfo-mml.sjtu.edu.cn/TADB2/) is an updated database that provides comprehensive information about bacterial type II toxin-antitoxin (TA) loci. Compared with the previous version, refined and new data schema employed. With aid of text mining manual curation, it recorded 6193 TA loci in 870 replicons bacteria archaea, including 105 experimentally validated In addition, newly developed tool TAfinder combines homolog searches operon structure detection, allowing prediction for pairs genome sequences. It also helps to investigate genomic context predicted putative virulence factors, antimicrobial resistance determinants mobile genetic elements via alignments specific public databases. Additionally, module TAfinder-Compare allows comparing presence given across close relative genomes. recent updates, might provide better support understanding important roles systems prokaryotic life activities.
