摘要: An Okhotsk snailfish (Liparis ochotensis) kept at Nagoya aquarium exhibited sudden death. Microscopically, the fish showed multiple granulomatous foci in gills, liver and kidney. Multiple yeast-like organisms as well pseudohyphal elements were observed within lesions. Immunohistochemically, hyphae negative for both Asperigullus Mucor spp., a weak positive Candida sp. The seminated-PCR product was consistent with parapsilosis C. tropicalis. This is first record of disseminated mycotic lesion due to tropicalis infection fish.
