摘要: Abstract Little is known about the health problems of fastest-growing segment population. Three major community-based studies present prevalence information on physical and mental disabilities among oldest old. These data also illustrate limitations interpretations in cross-sectional studies, emphasize value prospective investigations populations aged 85 older. Although more costly time-consuming, such longitudinal are indispensable to sound policy planning.
