摘要: Two processes to produce hydrogen via steam reforming are compared in a laboratory fixed bed reactor: conventional with nickel-based catalyst and sorbent-enhanced mixture of CaO−Ca12Al14O33 sorbent. A preliminary thermodynamic study was performed determine the operating window sorption enhanced at atmospheric pressure. Operating temperatures less than 650 °C required take advantage favorable thermodynamics due situ capture CO2, while maximum gain methane conversion between two process options is attained for molar ratio around 3.
