摘要: An expression for the spatial dependence of electric potential in a collisionless plasma sheath near an electron-emitting cathode is presented. The applicability this arc demonstrated. Comparison with numerical solutions model equations indicates that thickness and variation predicted by are accurate wide range electron-emission yield.
