摘要: We mechanically fabricated Fe, Co, and Ni nanowires showing conductance quantization under electrochemical potential control. The effects of 2-butyne-1,4-diol saccharin on the stability were investigated by measuring stretched length nanowires. Nanowires these ferromagnetic metals stabilized adding 2-butyne-1,4-diol. In a monoatomic contact was 0.4 nm in length, indicating formation highly stable metals. improved could originate from specific adsorption organic molecules contacts.
