摘要: Amebiasis caused by Entamoeba histolytica infection has been a prevalent protozoan disease in Korea since old times. For this reason, number of scientific publications relation to protozoa totaled 186 so far the literature, as 1989. The subjects ranged from biology its treatment and prevention. overall achievement scientists clinicians meritorious elucidating some pending problems areas pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment. Among them, development culture method applying diphasic medium, studies on virulence strains collected Korea, combination aspiration chemotherapy treat amebic liver abscess are seen have contributing eventual goal reducing land.
