Eta carinae and its environment

摘要: ▪ Abstract Eta Carinae (Eta) is one of the most remarkable all well-studied stars and perhaps poorly understood. Observations with Hubble Space Telescope other modern instruments have solved a few mysteries concerning this object while opening comparable number new ones. In review we first recount some essential background information Eta, then sketch observational developments past years, related to star itself its ejecta. Throughout, propose series specific unsolved theoretical problems that seem especially interesting or important at time.
