摘要: We have developed a laboratory test which quantitates the immunoreactivity towards Alzheimer paired helical filament (PHF) protein and PHF cross-reactive proteins in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) from patients with Alzheimer’s disease (AD). This reactivity is present higher concentration CSF AD than non-AD controls. The method employed for detection of this enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. By analyzing greater number samples controls, sensitivity specificity can be evaluated to determine its clinical usefulness as diagnostic AD. trials on now been started. However, it already predicted that there will both some false positives negatives. Data large group cases are therefore necessary define test, hopefully available near future.
