摘要: Giant proteoliposomes mimic natural cell membranes and provide excellent models for membrane biophysical studies such as phase separation, lipid-protein interactions, functional of proteins. Here, we present a simple versatile approach producing large number uniformly-sized giant in parallel fashion. This that combines the technique hydrogel-based microcontact printing commonly used electroformation is efficient, low-cost, doesn't require any specialized equipment. The resulting liposomes are attached to surface an array format, enabling rapid data collection statistical analysis processes. We applied these vesicles monitoring protein-protein binding interactions. Alternatively, can be easily detached from produce with employed studying channel activity aquaporin protein material transport across lipid membranes. may further applicable polymerosomes increased stability compared liposomes. presented method can, hence, useful biomaterials, biotechnology, biosensing applications well fundamental studies.View Large Image | View Hi-Res Download PowerPoint Slide
