摘要: Mountain wetlands are among the most vulnerable habitats in Mediterranean basin. Their conservation requires knowledge of plant species assemblages and their environmental drivers. In this study, we investigated what main factors driving composition mountain are. Differences control floristic between palustrine lacustrine were explored. We used a dataset 168 vegetation plots (releves), sampled at 45 mountain northern Apennines (central Italy). Direct ordination showed that water depth, geology type altitude responsible for distribution. The important gradient was linked to soil moisture, with hygrophilous increasing moisture levels. Indicator Species Analysis underlined clear distinction distribution aquatic plants wetland subsystems. Geology rainfall affected Indirect Generalized Additive Models revealed attributes significantly changed subsystems an increase hydrophytes decrease thermophilous along altitudinal wetlands. Management guidelines suggested.
