摘要: Abstract Lignocellulosic fiber, composed of hydrophilic component (carbohydrates, including cellulose and hemicellulose) hydrophobic (lignin), is widely used in bio-composites, paper paperboard products, other fiber-based bio-products. The surface wettability cylinder-shaped fibers, focusing on the liquid spreading ability fiber surface, essentially has an important effect many kinds properties. A novel measurement contact angle (“liquid-bridge” testing) was utilized for calculation free energy, expressed as evaluation wettability. results showed that determined by “liquid-bridge” testing quite similar to measured traditional sessile drop technique. energy increased dramatically from 46.63 mJ m−2 54.45 mJ m−2, calculated with water (74.30 ° 43.24 °) glycerol (64.50 ° 49.41 °), when PFI mechanical treatment strengthened up 15,000 rev. This method also been applied test positive variation sensitivity increase roughness pore size.
