Antiproliferative effects of selected chemotherapeutics in human ovarian cancer cell line A2780.

摘要: The aim of our study was to determine the effect selected cytostatics on a human ovarian cancer cell line A2780 as model system for treatment. This is considered cisplatin-sensitive. Panel tested included cisplatin, paclitaxel, carboplatin, gemcitabine, topotecan and etoposide. These have different mechanism action. To evaluate cytotoxic potential compounds, methods measuring various toxicological endpoints were employed including morphological studies, MTT assay, dynamic monitoring proliferation with xCELLigence, cycle analysis, caspase 3 activity expression proteins involved in regulation death. A270 showed sensitivity towards cytostatics, highest associated paclitaxel topotecan.
