摘要: The bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) consists of two species and various subspecies closely related viruses varying antigenicity, cytopathology, virulence-induced pathogenesis. Despite the great ongoing efforts to control prevent BVDV outbreaks emergence new variants, still reported throughout world. In this review, we are focusing on molecular biology BVDV, its pathogenesis, immune response host against infection. Special attention was paid discuss some evasion strategies adopted by hijack system ensure success replication. Vaccination is one main for prophylaxis contributes eradication many diseases including BVDV. We discussed recent advances types currently available classical modern vaccines. However, with strains variants virus, it urgent find other novel targets vaccines that may overcome drawbacks used Effective vaccination strategy mainly based preparation from homologous circulating strains. BVDV-E2 protein plays important role in infection mapped potential neutralizing epitopes among genomes especially E2 protein. These could be promising More research needed further explore actual roles these as development contribute global campaign
