摘要: Abstract A sample of 834 female New Zealand sea lions (Phocarctos hookeri), which were aged and measured, was obtained between 1998 2001. In addition, the reproductive histories 505 marked females from Auckland Islands recorded to 2005. These data sets used investigate growth rates. Length weight ranged 134 197 cm 49 156 kg, respectively. Gompertz model best described predicted that attained 90% asymptotic length (161.7 cm) (112.0) at ages 4 11 years, No significant differences found in rates among nor 2 major breeding colonies Islands.
